The Inklings Book Pub is a social enterprise, the name is inspired by a group of literary legends who would meet weekly at a pub and discuss their writings and socialise. This is a passion project and the goal is to establish a sober public space and serve used books in all forms. with an aim to promote literacy and personal growth. we will offer free books for young readers ages 1-18, and free educational books to all. this book pub is owned and operated by an autistic woman, who understand the importance of safe spaces and the priority is to offer job security and job skills training for autistic folks. fostering an environment that is comfortable for all people especially those who are most uncomfortable in the rest of the world. a place to host poetry nights, book club, book readings, and grassroots meetings. A space where book lovers, book curious, and book drunks can gather, become friends, activists, allies and make positive shifts in our world. Because reading leads to knowledge and that is very intoxicating!
